Ramos continues torrid debut in Twins win over Tigers

They also got a good start from Scott Baker (3-2), who had allowed 11 runs in his last two starts. But Baker limited the Tigers to three runs on seven hits and two walks over seven innings, and struck out six in picking up the win.

Detroit starter Max Scherzer (1-2) took the loss after giving up all 10 runs on eight hits and four walks in only 4 1/3 innings.

Rookie Austin Jackson went 3-for-5 to increase his major league-leading hit total to 43 for the Tigers, who had their five-game win streak snapped.
