05/03/2010 - Bronx, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - New York Yankees catcher Jorge Posada and closer Mariano Rivera are dealing with injuries that leave them temporarily unavailable for game action.

Posada is day-to-day with a mild right calf strain, an injury that forced him to leave Monday's 4-1 win over Baltimore after five innings. He was replaced by Francisco Cervelli and underwent an MRI exam, which revealed the strain.

Meanwhile, Rivera was not available for ninth-inning duties Monday because of left side tightness. Rivera has not pitched since Friday, when he first felt the tightness but could be available as soon as Tuesday.

Joba Chamberlain pitched the ninth inning of Monday's win to record his first save this season.
